  Adobe Crashes when importing .AVI of a project to create highlite video.

  Anyone else having this?

  I export to .AVI (compressed NTSC widescreen 480 60i) to make DVDs in Architect but I can’t import this file. Shouldn’t Premiere be able to read it’s own .AVI?

  Use the Adobe Media Encoder, not Export Movie.

  You will also find links to many free tutorials in the PremiereProPedia that will quickly show you how things are done in Premiere Pro.
