  Basics – adding text over video

  I’m a newbie. All I’m looking to do is add text/title over video. I know how to create the title, but when I try to place the text over the video only the video appears. I’ve tried adding the title above and below the video track, but to no avail. Any help is much appreciated.

  Putting a title on a track above all other video tracks will composite the title over the video.

  Watch these tutorials and the concept will quickly become clear.
