    Hi,
Probably stupidity on my part…but I’m new to Adobe Premiere and have been editing a video with no problems until suddenly the video bar on the timeline became yellow and was no longer connected to the audio. How do I reconnect them so that when I cut stuff the video and audio stay together?
    Cheers,
    Paul

First, make sure the audio and video are lined up so they are in sync – then, select the video clip, hold Shift key and then select the audio clip so bot are highlighted. Now, right click on either and on the menu which appears you will see the option ‘Link’. click on this and there you go.

Is it pixels or pixies that I’m having trouble with?

Hi Andrew,I’m working on Premiere 6 which doesn’t seem to have that option when I right click. However, I scouted around for a while and there’s a link/unlink tool 3rd icon along on the 2nd row of the timeline tools which has done the job. But thanks for your reply – I must buy a more recent copy of Premeire! Regards, Paul.
