  Video Format

  I just purchased my first Hi Def NLE and camera and need some advice.

  I would like to setup my project in 1080p, 30 fps video format. Yes, Premiere allows this, but NOT when using the Matrox Axio le card.

  I am considering these video formats:
  720p, 30
  1080i, 29.97
  1080p, 23.98

  My EX-3 camera will shoot any of the above formats. I would like to shoot in the same format as I am editing in because I think the consistency would be best.

  I produce documentaries for DVD release, which is why I was hoping to go the 1080p, 30 fps route. But since I cannot do that, does anyone have an opinion here? (I am considering #3 above)
