  CS3 Exporting Problems

  Greetings 🙂

  I have spent a few weeks making a video in Premier CS3, and all seems well with it.

  Here is the problem. When I export the video, the video skips like mad, and the timing is ALWAYS off. Timing with the music/video is KEY in what I am trying to do..

  Also, all of my content is 320×240.. and the actual “project” size is like 720×480.. should I be cutting the project down to 320×240? if so, how do I do this? also, when i export the file to avi it is like 1GB.. when in reality, it shouldnt be more than 40-50mb’s..

  the most important thing is the timing of the project.. is there a way to export the video ive made to a HIGH quality file.. and give it a few “passes” to ensure it is crisp/correct timing?

  The video works GREAT in premier, but when I export it.. it always looses quality/timing etc.. am I missing something?

  Skipping? Hmmm. It could be caused by mismatched source material. Ideally your source should match your project – Frame rate, frame size, audio sample rates, etc. Is your source material somehow copyright protected?
  If you are stretching any audio clips, you should Clip/Audio Options: Render and Replace, before exporting.
  If this is going to DVD than stay at 720×480, otherwise create a new project using custom settings and specify 320×480. You should than save the empty project file as a template (ie: 320×480 Full(or Wide).proj).
  If the original project is done, you can always import it into a new project of the correct frame size.
  Regarding file size, it sounds like your exporting an uncompressed movie. If your intent is to compress the video you should export with Adobe Media Encoder or Main Concept MPEG Pro. I think Main Concept is the only option that will allow 2-pass encoding – unsure.

  Hey guys,

  I have a problem with exporting audio in CS3. I recorded a video with audio and it plays perfectly on media player. When I import it to Adobe cs3, the audio does not match the mouth in the video. Then When I export it the video, the audio matches for about 2 minutes and then slowly starts to get off key. What can I do to fix this? Any suggestions would be very helpful!!!
