    I’m tring to create an alpha. It’s simulating a trickle of water that puddles into a picture and continues on. See the following QT to get an idea of what I mean:

    As you can see, the mask I made (which is hand keyframed) is not the greatest. It was done quickly. Now I’m trying to decide how to get the most realistic flow without having to spend hours hand keyframing.

    Can anyone suggest a good technique? Could ‘write-on’ work?
