  Export Question

  Hi All,

  I’m sure this has been covered before, but I need some answers…

  Are there optimum export settings for making a DVD? I’m exporting to place the files in Encore for DVD creation. I’ve always gone for the highest possible settings, but read recently that for optimum DVD playback, some of the numbers should not be as high as possible.

  Right now I”m using Minimum bitrate of 3.8250, Target of 6.000 and Maximum of 8.000.

  I’m working in PP 2.0 with 16:9. Any suggestions on optimum settings for encoding?
