Trim Beginning/End of Clip like in FCPX
Hi,
after using FCP X for a while, I’ve learned to appreciate some of it’s workflow hacks and smooth approaches to the plain editing, that Premiere Pro seems to be lacking.
But maybe I’m wrong and you guys can teach me how to achieve this in PP since my clients force me to use it when I’m in their office.
Is there a hotkey combo to trim the beginning or the end of a clip? Like, when I’m with my playhead near the end of a clip, I wanna press these two buttons (like in fcp x) in order to trim away everything that comes after OR before the playhead?
It’s such a handy tool in FCP. In Premiere I always end up doing it either with the mouse (which totally sucks), or trimming it manually with the . or , keys…
Thanks in advance if there’s a way to do this!!
