  Scale of Track Matte and clip linked

  I have a clip of someone walking across a room with a thought bubble graphic as a matte linked to their movement and I want to matte a clip inside the thought bubble.
  The thought bubble graphic w/ alpha is on V3.
  The clip to go inside the bubble is on V2(scaled to around 25% and has Track Matte Key applied).
  The person walking across the room is on V1.

  As soon as I activate the Track Matte Key (Alpha) the matte shrinks to 25% to match the clip. The two tracks become linked in scale and I can’t work out how to separate them so the scaled clip can fit inside the 100% bubble. This seems to be a feature of the Track Matte Key to link the scale of the two components.

  Is there a work around for this?
  Assistance appreciated.

  Nest v2 clip before applying track matte.
  Open nested seq in source monitor then open source sequence in timeline
  You can now repo & scale clip within mask.
  Fiddly but best way I could figure to do it
