How about re-installing After Effects? I never had such an error.

Does it happen no matter what you are working on in AE or just on special effects or comps? Perhaps try using adaptive resolution or in this cae perhaps OpenGL?

    I have this error aswell.

It occurs upon rendering, whereby the comp flashes to black when rendering frames…and for each unrendered frame it displays this dialog box (sometimes hundreds of times).

It seems to occur when the AE renderer gets to 55% of RAM on my pc, as stated in the render info panel.

I have 2 Gbs of ram and a high spec machine, and the comp im working on is not mind bogglingly huge, but it is dealing with large files…I require to render out movie, uncompressed, which works out to 2Gb…It has worked before and managed to render this once after being very picky….but now its back up to its old tricks and im unable to work with it it seems.

Im wondering if anybody has the answer or any advice…is this an AE fault a RAM fault, or something else?

    Many thanks.

I found a fix on another forum for this error.

It has something to do with AE not being able to handle RAM cache of some kind. Well…you can shut it off. But you actually don
