So, I have one video that I will be splicing throughout an entire project, meaning different portions of it will show up in multiple places in my timeline. However, I would like for the clip to be at 95% of it’s original size in all instances that it appears. Is there a way that I can do this (besides nesting it) without manually needing to input it each time I select portions of the clip from source monitor?

double click your clip from the Project bin. go to your Effects tab and select Video Effects/Distort/Transform. Drag Transform to your clip in the Source window resize to your liking. each time you insert the clip into the timeline it will be resized.
