  • L/R Audio Channels Swapped In Premiere, but not on Mac?

    Hi, guys.

I’m having trouble with Left and Right audio channels being swapped in Premiere. The channels are panned left and right correctly when audio is played on the mac (going via AJA io 4K to left and right speakers). However, in Premiere, when I pan left, the audio goes to the right speaker and when I pan right, the audio goes to the left speaker. Any ideas what could be causing this? The physical speakers are set up correctly, and all the tests I’ve done show that audio coming from the mac itself is panning correctly.

I did not set up the system myself, so don’t know every detail about the gear. I think it must be some issue with Premiere.

I think I figured it out. Went into “Audio Hardware” preferences and went…. “Map Output for: AJA Io4K-0 and then swapped the light grey icons to the right (the ones that look like speakers). This seems to have done the trick.
