Anyway to use premiere with pro res 4444 XQ?
So I recently got the footage from a shoot and it seems that they shot a codec I have not used before which is pro res 4444XQ It will not import in to premiere and it says codec unsupported. I have been goggling and it doesn’t look like there is a ton of information about the codec yet. Can anyone recommend what are my options so I can begin editing? Thank you

You’ll need an Apple ProApp installed…Compressor, Motion or FCX. Compressor is the cheapest.

Hmm, So if I bought Compressor It would then be able to import in to premiere?

https://larryjordan.com/blog/what-is-prores-4444-xq/The codecs come with any installed Apple ProRes…and those three are it. So yes, if you buy Compressor, you should get that codec. See if Compressor has a 30-day trial, though. Like FCX does.
