    Hello All,

    Techy Question…

    I’m new to Premiere…

    I have a sequence 1920X1080

In a solid video clip (Black Video changed to white) I have added a Red Giant Misfire Effect and the Strobe Effect from Premiere. It seems to really be over-consuming my timeline. When I render a preview it takes about 30 seconds to render out about 24 frames. I have to render it out or else it wont play and chops up the rest of the video in my timeline.

My computer specs are as follows…

    MacPro Late 2013
    12 Core
    64GB Ram
    D700 Graphics Card
    Premiere Pro CC 2015

In addition, for some reason my sequence is not playing in my SDI Monitor. The clips in my project Panel are but not my Timeline. I’m trying to understand what’s going on but having a difficult time. I’m working with a quick turn around as well.

    Any help would be appreciated,

    Thanks!
