  Clip Transparency Question (super simple I think?)

  I’m working on someone else’s multicam project, and they chose to just layer the two cameras on top of one another. I noticed that to fade into the lower channel, they simply added the edit and faded the clip into what appears to be a transparent version of it, however it is not an effect.

  I just want to know what they’ve done to it. What are these darkly shaded clips that he is fading into and out of? See pic for a much clearer explanation.

  Are the clips just disabled? Right click/ Enable clip
