  • volume levels not pasting in “Paste Attributes”

i copy a clip, then select one or more other clips, choose Paste Attributes and whether i select Volume and/or Channel Volume, there is no change on the new clip/clips.

i experimented a little and opacity changes are being pasted, but not audio levels.

    any idears?

    sequence: AVC-Intra 100 1080p, Drop-Frame
    clips: AVC-HD

thanks for helping out a bonehead!

I can’t test this, but off the top of my head try selecting the audio portion instead of clicking on the video. Otherwise, select the desired audio attributes in the Effects Panel, copy, then paste into the target clips. Note that position on the timeline matters if pasting key frames.

ya, interesting test here. i used to be able to adjust an audio level on audio track 1 or 2 of a clip, then select that clip in the timeline (which selected the video and both audio channels, copy, then select another clip or group of clips, paste attributes, and it worked. now it doesn’t.

what DOES work is to select ONLY the audio track with the desired level, then select ONLY the target audio track in a clip or group of clips and then paste.

maybe this was part of one of the recent upgrades? i dunno. oh well. thanks!
