Condensing audio tracks of a multicam sequence
Hi all,
I’m working on large multicam project consisting of 8 cameras and 4 external audio rigs. Is there a way to condense my audio to one track and and choose which track I want to hear in the same way as with video?

You can create a multicam clip of everything then Open In Timeline and arrange/add/duplicate audio tracks to go with whatever camera angle you choose. Then select Audio Follows Video when you go to cut it.

What I’d like to do is control the audio independently. That way, I can choose exactly what video track and what audio track I want.

That’s exactly what you can do with a multicam clip. Select (or option select) any clip and toggle through it’s angles/tracks with the number keys.
