  Audio channels in Adobe Premiere CC

  Hi all,
  I recently switched to using Adobe Premiere from Final Cut Pro 7, and am loving it except for one feature. When I import my footage from my C100, it mixes the audio into one track, keeps stereo left and right, but leaves me no option to easily pan channels. Is there something that I’m missing to help, it really adds too much time to export and do all I need separately.

  There’s a lot of ways to do what you want, but what you’re probably wanting is to: Import your shots, select them all in the Project Bin, right click and choose Modify-Audio Channels, set number of tracks to 2, set the Channel Format to mono.

  This does not affect clips that are already in a timeline.

  You can change this back at any time.
