Hey all, I have a Schools Logo that I Created in Photoshop, Just a PSD with about 6 layers. I Need to import this PSD into After Effects and extrude the complete PSD, so i can do a fly through that looks half descent. The problem I’m having is that I can not get this PSD to extrude, i have tried Echoing but will not extrude.
Any and all help is greatly appreciated, thanks (:-D

Echo will only work if your logo is moving since it calculates the discrepancies between frames. The only real solution to your problem is to trace your logo and create vector outlines that could then be used e.g. with Invigorator or a 3D program.

Or you could use the Shatter effect to remove all but the logo, and give it depth. It’s not perfect, but it works for a lot of people. For tutorials, check the COW.
