  • Progressive, interlaced? Video noise in all clips

    Hello

Im editing a video and all my clips have line like noise. I tried changing the sequence settings, thinking that the progressive or interlaced might be the problem, but couldnt find a solution.

The material was recorded with an Inspire 1 drone, at 59.94 fps. And my sequence has the following settings:

    Editing Mode: DSLR

    Timebase: 59.94

    Frame Size: 1920×1080 16:9

    Square Pixels (1.0)

    No fields (progressive scan)

Display format: 60fps drop frame timecode

    Are my settings wrong?

    Thank you in advance

    Hi Jimena,

Could you post a screenshot? A common issue with drones is shadows from the blades onto the lens causing a hum like overlay, is it not in the original footage?

As long as the footage was shot progressive, I can’t think of any other issues causing it.

Hi Vince thank you for your reply.

The original footage doesnt have the noise. I cannot send a screenshot because when paused you will not notice it.

If it was shot in progressive what sequence settings should I use?

    Thank you again

Ii really depends on the original footage. If you drag it into the new sequence icon on the project panel, you should get the correct settings.
