  CS6 Effects rack Peaking ?

  A little confused hopefully someone will have the answer. I tried posting in the Audition forum but no one had an answer. Thought I would try here.

  Using CS6. Imported sequence from PP into Audition.
  Normalized audio to -6 db. Added a hard limiter at -4db in the effects rack.

  My Meter levels at the bottom of the audition screen are perfect.
  My Meter levels in the effects rack are peaking/going into red.

  Why is the effects rack showing me a different level than the main meters at the bottom – is it just showing me the levels before the hard limiter takes effect?
