  Media Encoder CS5 hangs during render

  I’ve created a project in Premiere Pro CS5 (64-bit) on Windows 7 Pro x64. It’s 28 minutes long. When I try to render it in Media Encoder CS5 (to YouTube Widescreen HD), it gets about 2/3 of the way through and then stops. It doesn’t close, it just freezes. Not always at the same place (I’ve tried four times). If I click on Stop Queue, it asks if I’m sure and when I say Yes (click on “No,” actually), it hangs and Windows presents its “Close the program?” dialog, followed by a dialog saying, “PProHeadless.exe has stropped working” and asking if I want to close that, too. I say yes and return to the desktop.

  I’ve created dozens of projects with these tools, most shorter but some longer, and have never had this problem. Any suggestions? Thanks.
