  2K AE Online frame rate question

  Im ONLINING a project at 2K in After Effects which will later be filmed out. I exported a Quicktime from FCP
  which i brought into AE and placed into my comp as my guide to build my project. I want to be confident that my
  24fps ONLINE build is matching EXACTLY to my 30fps OFFLINE reference. What is the best way to get my OFFLINE
  refrence movie to play back at 24fps in my comp?

  Remove pulldown in AE? Export as 24fps from FCP? Is placing a 30fps clip into a 24fps comp enough?

  Any suggestions appreciated.

  Was the footage and the sequence used for editing in FCP also 24 fps ?

  If the rendered Quicktime actually has pulldown, then remove it with interpret footage, and AE will see it as a 24 FPS clip. Do everything in 24 from there on.

  if it doesn’t, it would indeed probably be best to export as a 24 fps quicktime.
