  PPro – Won’t Play Any Media After Audio File Import

  Hello Folks,

  I’ve been using Audio Hijack Pro to capture sounds from the web. They are AIFF 44,100 16 Bit.

  Then I import them into PPro. Double click to open the file in the Preview window but the clip won’t play when I hit the spacebar. I still have control over the program but I can’t play anything.

  I save and quit the software then launch the file again and everything is normal. This has happened 3 times now. This has never happened in 2 years.

  Just a thought? A few days ago, I couldn’t get the project file to open as I had deleted all media cache folders by accident and the project wouldn’t open. So I imported the project file (500mb) into a new project and everything has been working fine so far except this ‘import’ file lock up.

  Any help would really be appreciated.

  Just Imported one .wav and one .mov audio files and no play lock up. Maybe PPro doesn’t like AIFF.
