  Premiere Pro cuts length of video when importing

  Im importing .avi file exported from camstasia
  File Size: 110,8 MB
  Image Size: 1440 x 808
  Frame Rate: 30,00
  Total Duration: 00;01;53;28

  AVI File details:
  Contains 1 video track(s) and 0 audio track(s).
  Video track 1:
  Size is 104.13M bytes (average frame = 6.54K bytes)
  There are 29 keyframes, 16276 delta frames.
  Frame rate is 30,000 fps
  Frame size is 1440 x 808
  Depth is 24 bits.
  Compressor: ‘tsc2’, TechSmith Screen Codec 2

  In Premiere video is 1:53 long but actually it’s 9 minutes long, why premiere cuts it?

  I’m a little confused – you say that the video is 9 minutes long, but the video information you have given says that the video is, in fact, 1.53.28 (see below)

  I’ve read similar comments on Camtasia users. Can you export some standard format out of it that Premiere would support? Uncompressed avi?

  Yes, from yesterday I’m trying different codecs but Camtasia have bad encoding so the quality drops in other compressions…

  Im trying Avid uncompressed mov, Camstasia crashes…

  How strange. I haven’t used Camtasia for this kind of thing very often, but I am considering using it to screencap many videos in an upcoming project, so I will be interested in your progress with this issue.
