  tracking face mask but no masking tools showing up under fx effects??

  I’m a bit new to pp and trying to do a tracked face mask. I have watch several tutorials and it looks pretty simple but the problem is I don’t seam to show the masking tools under any of my fx affects.The marque ,the rectangle tool or the pen tool are just not there on my effects control panel. Is there a reason for this? I’m on pp version 7.2.2(33) windows 7 64 bit

  You have to upgrade to cc2014 (version 8.1 or 8.2)

  thanks I have that figured out now. I had ran an update today to see if that would fix my problem and i have a shortcut to pp pined to my task bar so when i launched the program after the update It didn’t appear to be fixed,a few hours later and after pulling what little of what was left of my hair out i finally figured out that the update had installed a whole new version and left the old version intact. Hidden in my program files on the start menu. I guess i didn’t get the memo or something
