  Correcting over sharpened footage

  Hi,
  Not sure if anybody can help here but I have been using a DJI phantom vision+ for a couple of sequences of a video I am working on. The only problem is that I accidentally recorded the footage using the ‘standard’ setting instead of the ‘soft’ setting (the soft setting is easier to grade and add sharpening to in Post.) I now have lots of sequences with harsh jaggy, over shaprened edges. Going back to film the footage again is out of the question so I am just looking to find out if anybody has any tips for fixing this?

  The DP on Robert Rodriquez’s Spy Kids did the same thing and the only way to fix the problems was to rotoscope every element in every frame if the film.
