  Removing Repeated Frames in Video

  Hi, I’m independent film maker from sri lanka. I have a problem with iphone 6plus 240fps video.

  briefly its like this.

  When i record a slow motion video on 240fps mode, after import it to premier or AE or FCP or any platform, i can confirm (interpret) that 240fps footage to 24p. (like slow down 10%)

  After confirm it to 24fps, in 24p timeline, there is a repeated frame after every x16th frame. that mean like this

  1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 16 “16repeated frame” 17 18 19 …etc
  

  so when i shoot a video for few minutes, it will automatically recorded a repeated frame after x16th frame in the video.

  Is there any possibility to analyse and remove those repeated frames in the video? (In AE or Pr or Avid or any platform or any encoder)

  Because removing one by one frame is pain in ass when the footage is so long.

  That shouldn’t be the case if the footage is exactly 240fps. I’d guess on previous experience with iPhone stuff that the footage has a variable frame rate so slowing it down might do that. It would probably work better if you set the file to run at 24fps in the interpret footage settings.

  Hi, i cheeked also with the Filmic pro app. it records naively 240fps constant and in higher bit-rate also. still the problem is there 🙁
