  text crawl inside a lower third graphic

  Hey,
  How can I make the text crawl inside of a lower third graphic? Is there something called a trash mat or trash bin that masks the text until it reaches the graphic and then again when it exits the graphic, so the text crawls only inside of the graphic and not across the entire screen?

  Though there is a Garbage Matte effect in Premiere Pro, I like the Crop Effect for this.
