  Anyone using a Sonnet EchoExpress III-D chassis?

  Is anyone on here running one of these in conjunction with the new Mac Pro?

  I’ve just had one installed to house 10GbE PCIe card and a Sonnet Tempo Pro carrying a 2 x SSD raid…it sounds like a jet engine even when idle! ..Not really pushed it yet for fear of it exploding! 😉

  I’m sure I read that the fans on these things automatically adjust speed when under load, but sounds like they’re going full pelt even when sat doing nothing.

  A real shame having that sat right next to a *completely silent* Mac Pro.

  Any experiences shared would be much appreciated.
