    Hey All,

Have been a browser of CC for some time now, so thought it might be time I take part in the discussions.

Quick Q to start with, as im working on a project currently that this applies to.

I have footage from various sources and resolutions, RED 4k to FS100 1080, gropro 2.7 k etc.
Im wanting the final render to be as high quality as possible, in 2 separate renders, on in 1080, one in 4k.
Im well aware if I stretch a 1080 clip to meet 4K, or crop a 4k clip in a 1080 workflow that I will be losing potential quality, but my question is, If I work in a 1080 sequence and render out at 4k, even though many clips are actual 4k (scaled to fit with no cropping of course), will the end result be the same as if I worked in a 4K sequence workspace? Im thinking it would be, as my conclusion is that its only the final render that counts, and that the sequence workspace is purely aesthetic. Or I could be wrong?

    Cheers!
