Using Premier Pro CS6 the YC waveform monitor only displays the current frame when stopped.
I’m ex broadcast and used to a continuous dynamic display. Is there any way that it can be made dynamic?
Alternatively, does Premier Pro CC display a dynamic YC waveform?

The program monitor can show scopes in realtime so if you can monitor your timeline with an external monitor then you should be good to go. The reference monitor only shows one frame when stopped and I don’t believe you can make multiple program monitors.

    Thanks for that.
Yes that works but as you say there doesn’t appear to be any way that I can see to have multiple program sources for monitors so that one can view the timeline as an image and realtime WFM at the same time.
In the old days one would just loop the video through one monitor to the other. Problem solved.

I tried that and except for the layout it was the same problem. The waveform froze while running the time line.
I’m running two monitors, one with the output program image and the waveform monitor in the corner.
The other monitor displays all the other windows I use when editing.

It’s not that important, I can live with it. I just wanted to ensure I wasn’t missing something.
    Thanks for the advice anyway.

It used to be that even having the scopes open during playback could yield some glitchy response from playback on the timeline. Had to hide them before hitting play.
