Media browser not pulling all .mts files in from folder
What to do when Adobe Premier media browser isn’t pulling all the .mts in to editor. I have 8 .mts files and when using the media browser to pull them in to editor it only pulls 5 .mts files

I haven’t used an AVCHD camera in a while, but in my estimation Media Browser is behaving as intended. It’s probably showing you clips, not files, as many cameras are designed to split/span clips over 2gb or 4gb chunks (a limitation of the filesystem on the camera media). If you look at the files themselves and notice a few hitting those limits, then this is exactly the reason.

It is different clips from the camera spanning from clip to clip because of the continuos recording of a Youth Hockey game. Italked to technical support and found out the the folder structure wasn’t picking them up because of old data on the card. I found out I needed to start deleting all the data off the SD card instead of just the clips…so if anyone else is having this problem there is the solution re format your SD cards for each project..
