    Hi All

Can anyone advise how to set dynamic linking of a premiere clip into after effects so that when you add the TIMEWARP filter in after effects via PP dynamic link process the clip doesn’t shift position?

I realise there are work arounds involving manual input inside the TIMEWARP effect settings of the frames you wish to render out, but this is not what any of the tutorials on this subject show as needed…
The tutorials I have seen (Lynda.com, Video Copilot) don’t seem to experience this issue or need to input frame values manually…

Any help would be much appreciated

when you pass the clip to AE…

take the layer in the in AE and Precompose it.

then in the main comp (not the pre-composed one)

do the timewarp. this way only the exact frames will be considered…
