  50fps -> 25ps – workflow for audio sweetening

  Hi

  I have recorded footage of an actor talking at 50fps and would like to slow it to 25fps.

  I want the audio to be somewhere near the original sound, but am well aware that at a slower speed the talking will sound deeper, more ghostly ect.

  So far I have been playing with the pitch shifter effect, but am aware that it produces a metallic edge to the sound. Is there any suggestions to reduce the rasp?

  I am new to premiere and have recently converted from FCP7. The equivalent ‘AUpitch’ command had more controls and seemed to not produce the same tinny sound.

  Any advice very much appreciated

  hi

  normal analog style time adjustments do yield pitch shifts.

  however it is possible in audition to high quality time stretching while maintaining the original pitch.

  Also could you give a little more guidance as to the name of this process? as I have not used audition before

  called: time stretching
