    Hi,
I have a 24p movie which I’m requested to to deliver as 1080i 25 XDCAM HD.

Can I simply do as I usually do for a 24p to 25p conversion?

Create my sequence as 1080i 25 XDCAM HD, import the 24p clip, interpret footage as 25fps and drop it into the 1080i25 timeline and export?

Or should I care about the progressive/interlaced thing and export using frame blending?

You can do exactly as you explained and that’s correct way of doing it. No problems putting progressive material to interlaced timeline.
