Audio slips out of sync in premiere pro cc
Hey all. I’m having an issue on a personal project I am working on. I am doing a recut trailer for the movie 300 roe. I ripped the DVD using vlc media player and have brought an mp4 into premiere and created the sequence based on the clip settings. The settings brought it in at 24fps. The video starts fine and everything is good, but as the movie progresses in the timeline it slowly slips out of sync. It eventually gets to the point that the audio is playing about a second before the video catches up. I’ve tried bringing it in as an mov and MPEG files with the same result. Ive also tried bringing the clip into a 29.97 sequence and interpreting at 29.97 fps. Still the issue remains. I checked the files in media players and it plays fine and there is no sync issue. I’ve decided I’m just going to manually sync the clips I’m going to use as I want to progress with my project but I’d like to figure out a fix so I can avoid this issue in the future. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
