  **Short film project workflow advice needed ***

  Okay so this is a 15-20 minute short film filmed over 3 days with around 65 GB worth of footage.

  Also,the audio was recorded using a TASCAM recorder + boom -so needs to be synced.

  Project needs to be completed in 3 weeks.

  No.of editors : 1

  What do you suggest ?

  Should I get an assistant editor to help me speed up the process? Especially syncing.. ( We used clapper-board)

  Best/Efficient workflow ?

  -First sync all audio-video rushes ? There are hundreds of video and audio files.

  – Once sync is done – start logging/adding metadata

  – Rough cut,etc..

  Also- I think the audio has been recorded on ‘mono’- single channel- this has to be changed to 2 channels ?

  Any advice will be appreciated !
