  CC R3D project Fails to Export or Error Compiling

  Greetings All,

  I recently upgraded form CS5.5 to CC. I have about twenty-seven 20 minute clips I’m trying to batch export with media encoder. We filmed it in R3D 3840×2160 23.976p and the audio is 48000Hz -24 bit – 2 mono.

  As far as effects go, there is quite a bit of RGB curves color correction on several clips, a 0.7 rotation on a couple of the clips, and a bit of audio key-framing, but other than that the project consists mostly of titles and basic video features. (Cross dissolve, etc.)

  Originally I queued up about five of them and started rendering them in CC media encoder. The first lecture crashed at about 40% of a 2 pass render. I then tried to render a single video out through direct export and the render crashed a bit earlier, 25% (ish). I’ve tried several other things since, but no real success. The point that the render freezes will vary between 5-60% completion. Sometimes it’ll say Error Compiling Video or Encoding Failed.

  If I try to direct export 1 sequence out of premiere I get “error compiling video” before the render even starts.

  Here are my render settings:

  VBR, 2 Pass
  Target Bitrate 15-18Mbps
  Maximum Depth
  Maximum Render Quality
  1920×1080 23.976 fps

  Here are my specs:
  AMD FX-6100 Six-Core 3.30GHz
  16GB of Ram @ 1600Mhz
  GTX 460
  Windows 64bit professional

  You might try trashing your prefs and cleaning your media cache. IF that fails, then try this:
