  The project contained a sequence that could not be opened. No sequence preview preset file or codec could be associated with this sequence type

  That’s the messsage i receive when I try to open my archive. It has lot of work on it and the backup files are too outdated.
  🙁 SOS !

  I tried
  – Reinstall premiere and reactivate
  – Clean all preferences anc cache files
  – Tried to fix automatically the archive with “Xml Wrench”

  Nothing worked for me.
  I’m running Premiere CS6 under win 8 with all codecs updated, and none change to my SO before that error appeared.

  If someone could help me to just “open” it that would be awesome.
  Then I could relink to the movie clips and sounds.

  After uninstalling, did you run the Cleaner Tool?

  Yes I did!
  I tried to do a full clean installation. Even uninstalled all the plugins and all the adobe suite.
