Hello, I’m working on a large project.

I had all my clips cropped and edited. After I saved and restarted all of the video on the clips shifted somehow.

The clips are exact. the video has moved within the clips.

I saved multiple Premiere files from the beginning and they have all shifted.

I’m working off of an external hard drive if that matters.

Hopefully their is a easy solution?

    Thanks!

select one of the clips – go to effects tab – re-position it correctly — then go back to timeline – select the clip and cmd c (copy)

then select the rest of the clips….right or option click and choose REMOVE attributes…..once you’ve done that….chose paste attributes…you will have option to paste filters and motion….chose whatever you need and they should all then match the first fixed clip

    Excellent thank you!!

Turns out what happened was I had a couple video files with the same names.

After restarting Premiere, Premiere didn’t remember the correct file names to match on the timeline.
I guess I figured it would.

I did a replace footage on the troubled files and that worked.

It was really confusing because it was conference footage and I could not tell where the shift was occurring.

    Thanks for your help!!

Hey, I have the exact same problem. I’ve edited this entire video and all the cuts are correct but the video is all wrong. I also use an external hardrive for my footage.

However, I don’t really understand how you guys managed to fix this? Thanks in advance!
