Hey, I upgraded a project from CS6 to CC recently, and a few weeks ago, I re-installed Magic Bullet Color Suite. And every time I open this project, which works fine, there is a pop-up that reads: Video Filter missing: AE.RG MBCC CDL”, am I missing a plug-in or something?

    Thanks,

    Tom

    Tom –

I have run into a similar problem due to the change from the Magic Bullet Suite to Color Suite. What happened, in my case, is that at least one of the elements in the suite moved to a new location in the install, resulting in a missing filter error similar to yours. Although the plugin was there, the new Color Suite architecture was looking for it in a new place, so I’ve had to re-apply the new filter to any older projects where I had instances of the old filter. Your best bet is to contact Red Giant Support, and they’ll address the issue – they’re fast to respond, and they know their stuff. In the meantime, you can take a look in your plugins folders to see if you can find the culprit. You might have success by just moving it to the new location. Just make sure you remember where it was, or duplicate it in the new location.

With most any plugin installer, if the version of the plugin you’re using was created prior to CC release, the installer doesn’t look for anything newer than CS6 on the machine.

You may have to simply copy/paste the Red Giant plugins from the CS6 location to the corresponding CC location.
