    Heya Everyone,

Im using the most recent version of Premiere CC on a PC and just ran into a strange issue.
The snapshot tool (camera icon) on the source and project monitor is NOT working. Well, actually,
none of the buttons are, whether it be play, marker, etc.

The buttons seemed locked too, they don’t do anything when i click them. Has anyone run into this situation before? Is this a glitch or do i have something locked somewhere?

    Thanks for your help!

Working for me, newest version. But on a Mac.
Are you sure you have a video or audio track selected when you do the insert/overwrite?

Try changing/resetting your workspace to see if that helps.

I tried changing the workspace, resetting it, undocking the panels, anything i could really think of.
For some reason none of these tools are responding, is this a glitch anyone ever experienced before?

try customize, then remove one or more, then close it, then
    customize and add them back.

    worth a shot.

    If Premiere is acting weird:
Open Premiere while holding down Shift + alt until welcome screen.
This will clear up a few things.

Did you ever find a fix for this? None of my buttons in the source monitor are working.

I had the same problem. None of the buttons at the bottom of the program window were working.

I fixed it by hitting the plus button (Button Editor) in the bottom right of the program window, then clicking “Reset Layout”.
