  previewing and Logging videos

  Hi,
  i need a quick information: someone knows a software being half way between adobe bridge and adobe prelude that let me preview all the video files of a shooting (with many different cameras) to tag each clip with “good” or “bad” and other informations?
  Prelude doesn’t allow to tag an entire file but only to set markers, moreover prelude need to ingest the clips and it’s a waste of time.
  On the other hand, bridge doesn’t open certain video formats (like panasonic P2 folder structure or SONY AVCHD containers).

  Bridge does open P2 structures now (JOY….)

  just make sure it’s updated….

  not sure about AVCHD containers…

  I can’t agree with you on Prelude being a wasted of time. Bridge will see P2 and MXF file structures but not AVCHD. I’ve mapped green yellow and red to the label functions in Bridge to easily mark things and sort them into Smart Collections. But that’s usually for artwork only. Marking/logging through Prelude is the most time-saving thing I’ve added to my workflow in years.
