Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0 Multi Cam
Hi,
Has amyone used the edit feature for multi-camera in Pemiere Pro 2.0? I have a two camera shoot that I would like to edit, but I would like to keep both audio tracks. One audio track is through the soundboard and the other is direct. It’s a theater presentation and the audio from the soundboard does not have audience reaction, ie clapping, laughter, etc. Is it possible to keep the audio from both cameras and still edit with the multi-cam feature? Thanks.

You will need to make a duplicate of the single audio track after making all multi cam edits. Then highlight everything from that new track, right click and go to multi camera, and select the audio channel you want. Camera 1, refers to audio track 1 in the multi cam sequence, camera 2, to audio track 2 etc etc.

Thanks for your reply and trying to help. Since I have never done this before, I am having a hard time following. Could use some visuals. My understanding of this edit is that each time a cut is made from one camera to the other the audio from that camera is used. So each time I cut the other audio is lost. I need both of the audios to stay synched since there are times that the soundboard does not give me audio and it doesn’t give me audience reaction I also turn the second camera’s audio down and only have the first camera at full gain. The program Multi-Cam that I had for my previous Premiere worked great for what I needed. Sometimes upgrades give us challenges. Thank you.
