  Question: Special Characters/Ligatures in Premiere Pro CC titles

  Working in Premiere Pro CC on a system running OSX Mavericks; can’t find a way to insert a styled “dash” from ArnoPro, which is an OTF. I access the glyphs menu in Illustrator CC, find the glyph that I want, copy it. But when I paste it into the Title Menu in Premiere Pro, it translates as a normal circular bullet point. Not sure why the glyph isn’t translating over. Anyone have any ideas or encountered the same problem? I’ve tried many things.

  A bit late for an answer, but since I just found out how to do it… 😉

  1) Open the Font Book.
  2) Find the font you want to use.
  3) Click the second icon from the left (the one with the arranged dots).
  4) Find the character you need.
  5) Drag the character from Font Book into the application (e.g. PPro’s Titler).
