Hi, im an architectural student and am looking for something to analyse a satelite or plan of a city .jpg and overlay the makings of a PCB or mainboard. Buildings being the components and roads paths etc being the flow of current or information.. It may not be as sophisticated as this however can u think of something that may work like this.. e.g. a photoshop filter converting lines into wires etc…..

simply overlaying a circuit board with 50% opacity is not good enough as it will not be related to the plans and therefor be meaningless.

    Kind Regards

couldnt not find the wires tutorial on that site however i have seen a similar one where you can make realistic wires on a circuit board.

Not quite what im after.. im after something to recognise certain thresholds in an image and decide whether to place a connector, component, transformer, etc..i could do it by hand but becasue i want to make 10 or so, an automated version would be very good
