  Re-Touching/Editing Images for Timelapse Video

  Hi,

  I have approximately 1000 images from a GoPro timelapse shoot. While I’m completely comfortable creating the video in Premiere, some of the images have troublesome items that require removing. Here’s what happened…

  The GoPro was attached to the top of a crane, facing down at the cargo. The GoPro was attached to the crane with a strap, and the excess strap was not tied down correctly and keeps migrating into the frame due to the wind. Here’s an image that shows the problem.

  

  Only 10% of the images have this, but they’re in sequential groups, so I can’t really just omit the images from the timelapse video without causing jump cuts. Therefore I am looking for a solution.

  Would ‘content aware delete’ be accurate enough? I think not.
  Could I crop the video to remove the offending area of the frame? Yes, but that would restrict the rest of the imagery.

  Is there a way that I can get PhotoShop to look at all the images and stitch common areas into them?
