Is there a way to sort sequences in the project by panel by the creation date of the clip from which each derives.

That is, I import a bunch of clips, create subclips from them as sequences (giving them new names), and put them in a bin. Now I want to sort that bin by the time at which the original clips were shot. Is this possible?

    Thanks,

You can add Date Created and Date Modified fields through the Metadata Display for all the bins in a project, but I’m pretty sure they only show info for clips. So you can’t sort Sequences using that method.

You can create your subclips in Prelude, sort them by Date Created, make a roughcut for each clip that when sent to PPro will come in as a Sequence.
