  • Premiere CC keeps crashing after latest update

    I updated my Premiere CC recently and after that I can’t use it at all as it crashes – I get a message telling me that ” Adobe Premiere CC stopped working. Windows is looking for a solution”…
    I uninstalled, re-installed, updated my video card drivers- still the same. I was able to use Premiere CS5.5 to edit for a while, but now that crashes as well. Anyone else had this happen – suggestions or ideas?

    Windows 7 Ultimate (64 bit sp1)
    i7 X940 @2.13GHz
    8GB RAM

    Have you tried holding down the Shift and Alt keys while starting Premiere Pro? Generally that is the first thing to try when Premiere Pro goes a little whacky.

    I uninstalled red giant Universe, seems to have stopped the crashing . not sure if this was the problem but you could try that if you have red giant universe.
